I am conducting research into the current situation with performance-based design for fire and its application within various building regulatory systems around the world. I would appreciate your help by completing a survey on this topic using the link provided below.
I would like to obtain feedback from a wide range of stakeholders, including fire (safety) engineers, fire service, building officials, architects and others. As such, I ask that you circulate the survey to your colleagues in your discipline and in related disciplines who you think may be interested and able to help.
Since I am attempting to collect data by country, for purposes of comparison, I would ask that if you work in more than one country, that you complete separate surveys for each country that you would like to report on.
All responses are anonymous (no names, affiliations, etc.). Responses will be used to compare different perspectives within a country (for example, difference between fire safety engineer and fire official) and between countries (for example, situation in Spain as compared with New Zealand).
The survey may take between 10 to 20 minutes, depending on amount of detail response you choose to provide. The link to the survey is as follows: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TG9JL7D
The outcomes from the survey, once analyzed, will be incorporated into papers and presentations.
Thank you for your assistance with this research effort
Best regards, Brian
